Technical FAQ
Q: What versions of Unreal Engine do we support?
A: We generally support the currently released version of Unreal Engine and 5 previous versions. When a new version is released, we try to have a build ready within a week for it. As of February 24th 2016, we support 4.11 through 4.15.
Q: Does NeoFur require tessellation to be enabled in Unreal?
A: No, tesselation features are not used to generate the geometry for NeoFur.
Q: Do you support consoles?
A: Indeed we do.
Q: How to I enable CPU Simulation?
A: The option for this is hidden inside the "Neo Fur Debug" section of the NeoFur component of your object. You'll need to enable CPU Simulation for all objects with fur that you want to use the CPU engine on.

Q: I'm getting an error "Plugin missing or incompatible".
A: You are trying to use the pre-compiled NeoFur plugin (Personal or Indie) either with a different version that it was built for or with a custom engine. You either need to version of NeoFur that matches your Unreal version or a Pro license that comes with source code to build the plugin yourself. We can offer you upgrades from your existing license to a Pro license if you're interested.
