Growth Morphs

Growth Morph targets can be optionally used to define, per-vertex, the direction and distance of the fur shells.

Creation

  • Refer to your specific 3d packages documentation to learn how to create a morph target / blend shape for your mesh.
  • Push/Pull/Expand/Brush around your vertices as you see necessary to define the extents and flow direction of the shell creation.
  • Explicitly name your morph targets, you'll need to know the names during hookup.

Importing

  • Use This Documentation to import your morph target into Unreal Engine and your skeletal mesh.

Setup

  • In the NeoFur asset dialog for your NeoFur Component, specify the name of your Growth Morph target.
