NeoFur Plugin Does not seem to work anymore.

Hi, I previously worked with neofur 2.0 release. But recently I installed into new project. latest version, and neofur just does not seem to work. I quickly setup a furasset using a copy of the render mesh. add neofur component then added the furasset. yet it does not load the hair shader representing hair. I add complex master material. makes no different acts like regular object. As if plugin is no enabled. The plugin is enabled under project plugins and the correct version is installed.

I did get this error msg after updating to new version.Proceeded with overwriting old shader.

Need help, I dont see why it's not working. what am I missing?

Hi Celeritas,

I just did a quick test of creating a furry sphere in 4.13 with build 383 and it went fine so we're going to need to find out what's different with your setup. The error message is expected and over writing it should take care of this. You could try manually deleting the two NeoFur shaders and see if that helps. From your description it sounds like you made a brand new project and added NeoFur to it and weren't overwriting an older installation. Starting with build 355 we moved the default materials from the content pack into the main NeoFur plugin package. Overwriting an earlier build could leave the plugin in an odd state. Did the plugin ask you for the license file when it initialized?

While your trying to manually remove the shaders, I'll run this by the dev team and see if they have any other ideas.

Its working now. It seems that the shaders for older plugins from other projects were interfering with newer plugin shaders for newer projects. I had to keep overwriting shaders. Im not really sure what made it work. But I did reinstall newest content package and newest plugins for all projects. Now everything seems to work. I did notice there is no fur preview within the editor, only within Ctrl-G game mode within one of my projects. But all is fine now.
