Neofur 4.13 OSX Animals 1 sample content crashes UE4

Not sure what else to say. UE 4.13.2 on OSX, the latest plugin Neofur Indie 383, trying to load and preview the Neofur Animals 1 content package I just bought and it all crashes. Can't even load the maps on their own to attempt a rebuild of the lighting or shader recompile, engine simply crashes.

I'm sorry you're having issues. What version of OSX are you using? I just verified (slowly) that I could get the Animals pack to work on my 2013 Macbook pro with 10.11 using UE 4.13.2 and NeoFur 2.1.383.

Do you have the same crash when you use the _Optimized map vs the _HighEnd levels?

At least it appears so. What I get is either Eternal Spinning Beach Ball of Death, or it just outright crashes.

  • Having the same isssue with OSX 10.12.2 and I crash when I try to run any of the levels in the demo scene

What hardware are you guys running on? I was able to get it to hang once on a late 2012 iMac with an i7, 32gb and a GTX 675M. I wasn't able to get the hang to happen a second time and the level was working for me.

I'm using Macbook pro 2016 2.2 Ghz i7, 16gb ram, intel iris pro 1536

27" iMac late 2013, 3.5ghz core i7, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 780M 4096MB

Does Unreal give you guys any sort of crash dump when it does crash?

Mine just hangs when it attempts to load the map and never does anything else. Eternal spinning beachball of death.

two more things to try:

1) If you remove the NeoFur plugin and try and load the level, does the same thing happen?

2) Are you able to use NeoFur to create assets from scratch?
